And So…

On the way home, the newly engaged couple was giddy. Their eyes brimming with joy. 

Gu Xi looked at the ring on his hand over and over, turning it lovingly. He thought that after receiving the award today, he hadn’t been online yet. Flipping through his phone, he discovered that their earlier embrace had topped the trending searches at number one.

“I want to do something naughty,” he said.

“What?”

“Go public.”

“They will say it is fake.”

Even without going online, Rong Jing knew that he and Gu Xi were called two parallel lines that would never intersect, and with their own high profile, any little movement was big news.

Gu Xi blinked and looked over. How could Rong Jing withstand those watery eyes? He retreated step by step. 

“Okay.”

Just like that, he easily and naturally agreed.

And so, this bombshell that shook the entire entertainment industry was born from Gu Xi’s phone. He also grabbed Rong Jing’s phone and reposted.

Then, ignoring the explosive celebration online, he set both phones aside. When Rong Jing curiously wanted to see what he’d posted, Gu Xi smiled slightly.

When Rong Jing stopped at a red light, Gu Xi unbuckled his seatbelt and kissed Rong Jing’s cheek.

“Eyes on the road.”

“!”

How am I supposed to focus now?
