Once upon a time, there was a curious little cat who lived on a story page. Every day, it peeked out from behind the words, stretching across paragraphs and sunbathing between sentences. When its story came to a happy end, it padded softly away and found a forever home here, in the Retired Cat Corner.
It’s peaceful here as the walls smell faintly of ink and dreams. There’s a sunbeam that never fades, and each retired cat curls up beneath it, purring in memory of the tale it once belonged to.
For now, there’s only one resident or two. Small, sleepy, and content, but someday, others will join. Each one will bring its own story of chapters closed, of endings cherished, of warmth that lingers long after the words stop.
